November 7th:
Read: The Science of Being Great: Chapters: Consecration, Identification, Idealization, Realization (all these chapter titles reminded me of Cassias poem :) )
What inspires you? Please bring something to share that inspired you from your readings. If you need some ideas there is a link on the top of the page that has inspiring ideas to use.
Please remember to be thinking about our "jumping off" spot. Here are some options: Pick a group favorite hymn, Megan's song...We all have a part to play, Isaiah's song, Gracious' song, Choose a Theme (creation, greatness, beauty, Christ), Composer (Bach or Vivaldi or Mozart or Handel). What other ideas do you use as a jumping of spot?
Optional: Read: All You Have To Do Is Listen: Chapters 5 and 6
November 21st:
Creation DAY !!!!!!
Please bring something you have created. This can be art, music, writing, dance, acting, video, etc. any form of creation is welcome. If you need an instrument or an electronic device please let me know before class time. Please plan to give and receive feedback.
You can bring projects you are continually working on if you are continually working on them...adding depth to a song. adding your own individuality to a handicraft, putting words to music or music to words, refining your thinking and writing process, etc.
If you need some ideas there is a link on the top of the page that has inspiring ideas to get you started.
Since digital creations are sometimes tricky at the church, please plan to send a link out on the blog or to me so it can be reviewed by everyone.
